Native American Arts and Culture in Northern New Mexico

Native American Art is one of Santa Fe New Mexico's most important economic and cultural resources. With dozens of pueblo reservations less than 100 miles from Santa Fe art center there is plenty of reasons to go exploring. The largest Native American Market which is know as Indian Market occurs in August and is a must see. With millions of dollars of Indian Art changing hand in a two day period. Indian Market is the largest Native American Art show in the world. Juried and vetted it is a great way to meet the artists and add Indian Art to your Santa Fe collecting experience.

Native American dances and festivals are a regular occurrence around Santa Fe. Always check for times as they do change and always remember that you are a visitor and these are religious events.
